Dec. 10th, 2011 04:58 pmThis one's just for the record-keeping, folks.
My trigger for "people talking loudly and over each other in my general vicinity" holds true even when it is not family members, to whom I generally have strong reactions. This week at work, there was a discussion which a lot of people were participating in, some of them talking to and past and around me, and I went to the "do not react, do not respond, and get the fuck out of here" place in my head.
Which is a great place, and where I definitely want to spend as much time as possible while wearing my professional face. Ugh.
