While November and December are probably never going to be easy for me, doubling my lexapro dose on November 1 and keeping it at 20 mg until March made it easier. *clutches drugs to bosoms*
I was terrified I was going to have to argue with my GP to prescribe it, but she was totally cool with it. It's apparently not uncommon for people who have a rough time in the winter to tweak their dosage a little beforehand and get a bit of a cushion.
i might have to ask about doing the same. especially since around here, we don't get sunlight, just varying shades of gray, for most of the winter. (except of course those 4 days where it's minus a zillion and not a cloud in the sky and you get sunburnt from the reflection off the snow, but i digress :) )
